Rip Rider 360 Safety Check List

Tire Care

Periodically inspect the tire for excess wear.

Safety Gear

Always wear proper protective equipment such as an approved safety helmet. Elbow pads and kneepads are recommended. Always wear shoes (lace-up shoes with rubber soles), never ride barefooted or in sandals, and keep shoelaces tied and out of the way of the wheels.

Loose Parts

Check and secure all fasteners before every ride. Make sure the steering bolt and casters are tight. There should not be any unusual rattles or sounds from loose parts or broken components. If you are not sure, ask an experienced mechanic to check.

Frame, Fork and Handlebars

Check for cracks or broken connections. Although broken frames are rare, it is possible for an aggressive rider to crash into a curb or wall and wreck and bend or break a frame. Get in the habit of inspecting yours regularly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rip Rider
My 4 year old son saw a commercial for the Rip Rider on television and decided that was what he wanted for his 5th birthday present. I am so glad I followed his lead. He absolutely loves it, and so does his 12 year old brother. It is ridden every day, abuse beyond the normal, and has been great! I may have to purchase another to avoid the sharing conflicts!!

4.0 out of 5 stars rip rider is awesome!

I bought the rip rider 360 for my son on his sixth birthday and he absolutely loves it. The only complaint i have is that when he rides it for hours on end…which he does because he loves it soooo much…he gets a bruise on his lower back from the seat…which is made of hard plastic. I guess when he pedals, his back moves back and forth against the seat hard enough to leave a bruise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Freakin Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 8 year old seen this on a tv commercial. Of course he just had to have it. He has ridden this everyday since it came in. He loves it. I would recommend tryin to improve it with some kind of brake on it. But other than that it’s awesome. Thanks

1.0 out of 5 stars We probably would have enjoyed this…

But we weren’t able to use it because it arrived without all of the parts necessary to put it together. The worst part is that it was a last-minute Christmas gift and when it arrived two days before Christmas and my husband went to put it together, he realized that it didn’t have all of the necessary parts to put it together. The company that we had purchased it from through Amazon (Fogdog) initially didn’t want to issue a refund, but we were able to talk them into refunding us right away since it was almost Christmas and we needed the money we spent on this to purchase something locally to replace it. It certainly wasn’t easy to get them to do this, but after much persuasion, they agreed to it. The condition was that we would send it back within 10 days using their prepaid label, which we did.

I don’t feel like I can really comment much on whether or not this is a great item, since we didn’t get to use it, but I thought it was important to note that if you are ordering one of these, you’ll want to leave plenty of time to make sure that it has all of the parts and also that you may need to be a little pushy to get Fogdog to process the return in a timely fashion and meet your needs as the customer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Coolest thing I’ve ever seen!

My 10 year-old loves this thing! It’s like the old Big Wheel but so much more fun. He has worn off a set of wheels. I was able to replace the front tires with a tire from Walmart and the back ones with replacement wheel from Rip Stick. Great toy!

My 7 year old son absolutely loved this rip rider! We bought it for Christmas and he barely got off of it. It was also the hit of our neighborhood. Unfortunately the mechanism in the pedals stripped after only 1 week of use so we had to return it to Fogdog (who was great to work with). They sent out a replacement immediately so we will see what happens in the next week? I hope this is not a factory defect problem because this is an awesome little toy!
